# MySched full help documentation

# Accessibility (/docs/accessibility)
MySched follows your device's accessibility settings. Important information does not rely on color alone.
## Larger text [#larger-text]
MySched supports your device's text size, including accessibility sizes.
On iPhone or iPad:
1. Open **Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Display & Text Size ▸ Larger Text**.
2. Turn on **Larger Accessibility Sizes** if you need them.
3. Move the slider, then return to MySched.
Rows may become taller or show less extra detail, but the class name, time, and main action remain available.
## VoiceOver [#voiceover]
On iPhone or iPad, turn on VoiceOver in **Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ VoiceOver**. Swipe to move through controls, then double-tap to use one.
Buttons, tabs, schedule rows, import results, and status messages have spoken labels. On the schedule review screen, listen to the full class details before saving.
If a control is unclear, include the screen name and what VoiceOver said in a [support message](/support).
## Reduced motion [#reduced-motion]
MySched follows **Reduce Motion**. Large transitions and repeating decorative animation are reduced or removed. The same status remains available through text, symbols, or shape.
On iPhone or iPad, open **Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Motion**, then turn on **Reduce Motion**.
System animations, including some Live Activity animation, are controlled by your device. MySched cannot change every system animation.
## Color and contrast [#color-and-contrast]
* Light and dark themes use colors that adapt to the interface.
* Course colors are optional. The course code and title carry the meaning.
* Important states also use text, icons, or shapes.
* Change the theme and accent in **More ▸ Settings**.
## Touch and keyboard use [#touch-and-keyboard-use]
Interactive controls use platform-sized touch targets where possible. On iPad, standard controls also work with a connected keyboard and pointer.
## Accessibility support [#accessibility-support]
Tell us about an accessibility problem through [Contact Support](/support). Include the screen, device, system version, and setting you were using. Leave out private schedule details unless they are needed to explain the problem.

# Account & privacy (/docs/account)
You can use MySched without an account. Signing in lets supported records sync to your other devices.
You can also preview and save a classmate's shared schedule without an account. Publishing, following, confirming, or reporting a shared schedule requires an account.
## Your account [#your-account]
When you are signed in, your saved schedule, tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams can follow you to another device. Class notes, import drafts, and Study Plan suggestions stay on the device where you made them.
Use email and a password on iPhone and iPad. Email sign-up confirms your address with a 6-digit code.
Email sign-in also works on Android.
On iPhone and iPad, you can also use **Sign in with Apple**. If you already made an email account, you can link it instead of creating a second account.
## Export your data [#export-your-data]
1. Open **More**.
2. If you are signed in, open your profile. If you are signed out, open **Settings**.
3. Tap **Export My Data**, then save the file.
The export includes your saved schedule and student records, such as tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, notes, exams, and import drafts.
The export is not a complete account archive. It does not include your profile photo, app preferences, notification preferences, analytics, subscriptions, or schedule links you created.
## Signing out [#signing-out]
Open the account row at the top of **More**, then tap **Sign Out**.
Signing out clears student data from that device. Records that sync to your account return after you sign in again. Device-only notes, Study Plan suggestions, and import drafts do not, so export them first if you need a copy.
## Deleting your account [#deleting-your-account]
Open your profile from the account row at the top of **More**, then choose **Delete Account**.
This removes your account, profile, synced records, and schedule links you created. It also clears the app's local student data.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
## Privacy [#privacy]
Your account data belongs to your account. We do not sell it or use ads in MySched. Screenshot reading starts on your device, and images are sent for AI reading only when you choose it. See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).

# AI schedule reader (/docs/ai-import)
Every screenshot import starts with reading on your device. When the current
client and server flags allow it, the optional AI reader can help with crowded
or hard-to-read timetables. The current mobile send path has no consent prompt
or Settings decision gate. The deployed Edge endpoint is account-optional and
does not enforce a consent token. The result still needs review before saving.
## When it runs [#when-it-runs]
The local reader runs first. An improved read may run for a screenshot or pasted
text when the server-owned AI flag permits it and the local flow has a reason to
ask for help. It can be unavailable or disabled, so the on-device reader,
pasted-text import, and manual entry remain complete alternatives.
Improved reading is available with or without an account. Signed-in users and
guests have different server-owned quotas.
## What is sent [#what-is-sent]
For an improved-read attempt, MySched may send:
* up to three selected schedule images, resized and compressed;
* text that MySched read from those images;
* the school you selected; and
* course-code information that helps correct the reading.
When images are present, the image is authoritative and OCR is supplementary.
MySched does not send your whole photo library. Only the selected input is used.
## Review and limits [#review-and-limits]
AI can misread days, times, rooms, or course codes. Fix or remove anything
wrong before saving. The current v1 request is bounded by:
* three images;
* about 1.5 million base64 characters per image;
* a 6 MB request body; and
* 12,000 OCR characters.
The request is sent over HTTPS. MySched does not retain the schedule payload as
part of the AI request. The provider may have separate processing and retention
rules. See the [Privacy Policy](/privacy) for the current disclosure.
## If the reader is unavailable [#if-the-reader-is-unavailable]
* Keep the on-device draft and correct it.
* Choose fewer, clearer images.
* Paste timetable text or add classes manually.
* Try the improved read again after a temporary provider or quota error.
The future consent-bearing v2 design is not the deployed Edge wire. It is kept in

# Attendance (/docs/attendance)
Open **More ▸ Attendance** to see your attendance.
## What you see [#what-you-see]
* Your overall attendance percentage.
* A weekly trend after you have enough records.
* A course-by-course list with status counts and dated history.
By default, courses below **75%** are marked **At risk**. You can change the at-risk threshold and late-arrival rule for a course. When term dates and attendance limits are available, MySched can also show how many absences you have left.
## How the math works [#how-the-math-works]
Each class meeting can be **Present, Late, Absent,** or **Excused**.
* **Present** and **Late** count as attended.
* **Absent** counts against you.
* **Excused** is left out of the percentage.
The percentage is:
**(Present + Late) ÷ (Present + Late + Absent)**
Attendance is recorded for each meeting on a specific day.
## Ways to mark yourself present [#ways-to-mark-yourself-present]
* Tap **Present** in a class's details.
* Use **I'm here** on Dashboard or the Week tab.
* Use **I'm here** on a class notification when it is available.
* Use **I'm here** on a widget or other quick class surface when it is shown.
On iPhone and iPad, a Live Activity can also show **I'm here**.
On Android, the ongoing-class notification or a widget may show the same action.
Check-ins from a notification, widget, or Live Activity are saved first and imported by MySched when it opens. If the record is not visible yet, open MySched during the same week.

Tap a class on Dashboard, the Week tab, or a widget to open its details.
## What's in a class [#whats-in-a-class]
You can see the course code, title, type, day, start time, end time, room, and instructor when those details are available.
## Mark attendance [#mark-attendance]
The **Attendance** section shows the current week's occurrence. Choose **Present**, **Late**, **Absent**, or **Excused**. Tap the selected status again to clear it.

## Quick actions [#quick-actions]
Class details can include these actions:
* **New Task**: create a task linked to the class.
* **Add Reminder**: on iPhone and iPad, add a reminder before the next class.
* **Add to Calendar**: add the class meetings to your calendar.
* **Copy Details**: copy the class information.
* **Edit Class** or **Delete Class**: change or remove a class you created.
## Add your own class [#add-your-own-class]
Open **+** and enter:
* a title and optional code;
* one or more meeting days, when your app supports that choice;
* start and end times;
* a type, such as Lecture, Lab, or Online; and
* an optional room and instructor.
If the new class overlaps another one, MySched asks whether you still want to add it.
On iPhone and iPad, you can choose several days in one form. MySched keeps those meetings together as one subject.
On Android, add each meeting day separately; those entries stay separate.
## One subject that meets more than once a week [#one-subject-that-meets-more-than-once-a-week]
On iPhone and iPad, MySched can combine separate entries that look like the same subject. Review the meeting times before confirming. You can separate them later without deleting the meetings.
Android does not currently combine several weekly meetings into one subject, so attendance and tasks for those entries remain separate there.
Classes from an official or imported schedule cannot be edited or deleted from the class details. Use **More ▸ Manage schedule** to replace or fix the schedule. Classes you added yourself can be changed or removed.

# Compatibility (/docs/compatibility)
The current iPhone and iPad version is 6.2.3. It needs **iOS or iPadOS 18 or later**.

If your store does not offer MySched, check for a system update on your device.
## Android [#android]
The Android app runs on **Android 8.0 and later**. Google Play decides whether a specific device can install it.
It is a separate app on its own release schedule, so its version number does not line up with the iOS one. See the [iOS](/docs/releases/ios) or [Android](/docs/releases/android) history for each app.
The apps share the main schedule and planning features, but a few tools are different:

Both apps support calendar export and their own widget sets. The details above are the differences you are most likely to notice.
## Feature requirements [#feature-requirements]
* **Dynamic Island** information appears only on supported iPhone models. Other supported devices can still show Live Activities on the Lock Screen.
* **Widgets and controls** require the sizes and placements offered by your iOS or iPadOS version and device.
* **Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight** depend on the related iOS settings being enabled.
* **Nearby schools** needs Location Services only if you choose that option; text search works without it.
* **Sync** needs a MySched account and a connection. The saved schedule still opens offline.
* **Official schedules, classmate sharing, and the AI reader** need an internet connection when they are used. Screenshot, pasted-text, and manual import remain available as fallbacks.
## Language and region [#language-and-region]
The app interface is currently available in English. The three school support states are **Official schedule**, **Directory only**, and **Custom school** on both mobile clients and this help site. Timetable parsing accepts
common Filipino and English weekday terms, but unusual abbreviations or layouts
may still need manual correction.
Times follow the device's local time settings. If a class time looks wrong after travel or a timezone change, review the class before relying on a reminder.

# Exams (/docs/exams)
Open the **Tasks** tab to manage exams alongside assignments and to-dos. Use
the filter menu and choose **Exams** when you want an exams-only view.
Exams remain distinct scheduled events underneath the shared timeline. They
keep their exact date, time, class, coverage, countdown, and history rather
than behaving like checkable tasks.
When you are signed in, exams sync to your account. When you are signed out, they stay on that device.
## Add an exam [#add-an-exam]
1. Tap **+**, then choose **New exam**.
2. Enter a title, such as Midterm or Final.
3. Add a course code if you want.
4. Set the date and time.
5. Add what the exam covers.
## See what's coming [#see-whats-coming]
In the default **All** view, active exams appear beside tasks in **Today** or
**Upcoming**. Past exams move to the collapsed **Past Exams** section. Choose
the **Exams** filter to focus only on those event records. Tap an exam to open
its details and edit or delete it.
Turn on **Exams mode** in Study Plan to build longer study blocks from your
actual upcoming exams. MySched uses the exam date and time as the deadline; no

# FAQ (/docs/faq)
## Do I have to type in my schedule? [#do-i-have-to-type-in-my-schedule]
No. Import a screenshot, paste timetable text, use a PDF, choose an **Official schedule** when one is
available, or add classes by hand. A directory listing only identifies the school; it does not imply
an official integration. If it is absent, save a **Custom school** and import immediately. Screenshot
reading starts on your device. AI is optional. See [Import](/docs/import).
## Can I use it on more than one device? [#can-i-use-it-on-more-than-one-device]
Yes, when you sign in. Your saved schedule, tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams can sync to your other devices, including between iPhone, iPad, and Android. Class notes, import drafts, and Study Plan suggestions stay on one device.
## Does it work offline? [#does-it-work-offline]
Yes. Your last saved schedule opens without a connection. If you are signed in, changes sync when MySched has a connection again. See [Sync & offline](/docs/sync-and-offline).
## Can I add a class that isn't in my schedule? [#can-i-add-a-class-that-isnt-in-my-schedule]
Yes. Tap **+** and add a custom class, such as a club, tutorial, or study block. Custom classes are the ones you can edit or delete. See [Classes](/docs/classes).
## How is my attendance percentage calculated? [#how-is-my-attendance-percentage-calculated]
Present and Late count as attended. Absent counts against you. Excused is left out. See [Attendance](/docs/attendance).
## Can MySched track my grades and GWA? [#can-mysched-track-my-grades-and-gwa]
Yes. Open **More ▸ Grades**, add your courses, units, and grades, and MySched calculates a running GWA.
Android uses the Philippine 1.00–5.00 scale. iPhone and iPad also support a 4.00 scale. See [Grades](/docs/grades).
## Can I add my exams? [#can-i-add-my-exams]
Yes. Open **Tasks**, then use the **Exams** filter to keep exam dates and
coverage together. Exams sync when you are signed in. See [Exams](/docs/exams).
## What is the Study Plan? [#what-is-the-study-plan]
It suggests study blocks around your classes and open tasks. Open it from Tasks or **More ▸ Study Plan**, then add a block to Tasks when you want it. See [Study Plan](/docs/planner).
## Why didn't my class reminder show up? [#why-didnt-my-class-reminder-show-up]
Check that notifications are allowed and class reminders are turned on in **More ▸ Settings**. iPhone and iPad have a limit on scheduled notifications.Android can delay reminders when notification or battery access is blocked. See [Reminders](/docs/reminders).
## I checked in from a widget or Live Activity. Why isn't it counted? [#i-checked-in-from-a-widget-or-live-activity-why-isnt-it-counted]
The check-in is saved for MySched to import. Open the app during the same week if the Present record does not appear yet. See [Attendance](/docs/attendance).
## How do I change my section? [#how-do-i-change-my-section]
Open **More ▸ Manage schedule**, then choose **Change section**. This is available for official school schedules. See [Week & schedule](/docs/schedule).
## Can I use a classmate's schedule? [#can-i-use-a-classmates-schedule]
If **Classmates** is available in **More ▸ Share**, you can join by code or link. You need an account to publish, follow, confirm, or report a shared schedule. See [Sharing](/docs/sharing).
## Is my data private? [#is-my-data-private]
Screenshot reading starts on your device. Images are sent for AI reading only when you opt in. Your account data is tied to your account, and you can delete it from your profile. See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).
# Getting started (/docs/getting-started)
You can start with a schedule and no account. Setup takes one question at a time.
Importing a schedule and using MySched works without an account. Signing in lets your schedule, tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams sync to another device. Class notes, import drafts, and Study Plan suggestions stay on one device.
## Create your account (optional) [#create-your-account-optional]
Sign in first if you want supported records to follow you to another device.
On iPhone and iPad, the quickest option is **Sign in with Apple**. Email sign-in works there too:
Email sign-in also works on Android.
1. Open MySched and tap **Get started**. You can also skip to importing.
2. Enter your name, email, and password.
3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email, then tap **Verify**.
Use **Resend code** if the message does not arrive. There is a short wait between requests.
Records that sync to your account can return on another device after you sign in. Device-only notes, import drafts, and Study Plan suggestions do not. On iPhone and iPad, you can link Sign in with Apple to an existing email account.
## Turn on class reminders [#turn-on-class-reminders]
Choose **Class reminders**, pick how far ahead you want the alert (**5, 15, 30,** or **60 minutes**), then allow notifications.
Tap **Not now** to skip this step. You can change it later in **More ▸ Settings**.
## Import your schedule [#import-your-schedule]
Use a screenshot, pasted text, an official school schedule, or manual entry. The full walkthrough is in [Import your schedule](/docs/import).
### From a screenshot or pasted text [#from-a-screenshot-or-pasted-text]
1. Choose the screenshot option and select up to five schedule images, or choose text and paste it.
2. MySched reads the schedule on your device first.
3. Review the classes, fix anything wrong, and save.
AI is optional. If you choose it, MySched asks before sending the selected images and related reading data. You can keep the local result instead.
### By adding classes manually [#by-adding-classes-manually]
Choose the manual option and enter the title, meeting days, start and end time, type, and optional room or instructor.
### From your school's directory or official schedule [#from-your-schools-directory-or-official-schedule]
Choose **Find your school** when your school is in the directory. A directory row is for school
identity and campus selection; it does **not** promise an official schedule integration.
When an **Official schedule** is available, MySched shows the term and section picker. Otherwise,
the same school can use the screenshot, pasted text, PDF, or manual import paths.
For an **Official schedule**:
1. Pick your school.
2. Pick your term and section.
3. Remove any courses you are not taking.
4. Tap **Save**.
If your school is not listed, choose **Use a custom school**, save its name/campus/city or nickname,
then use a screenshot, pasted text, PDF, or manual entry. When **Classmates** is available, you can
also use **More ▸ Join with code**.
To redo your schedule later, open **More ▸ Manage schedule**.
Classes repeat each week. Add the weekly meeting, not every individual date.

# Grades (/docs/grades)
**Grades** stores a mark and unit count for each course, then calculates a running **GWA**. Open it from **More ▸ Grades**.
When you are signed in, grades sync to your account. When you are signed out, they stay on that device.
## Your GWA [#your-gwa]
Your GWA is weighted by units. The screen also shows how many courses and units are included. Add at least one grade to see a result.
## Add your courses [#add-your-courses]
On iPhone and iPad, tap **Add your scheduled courses** to start with courses from your schedule.
On Android, tap **+** and add each course.
For each course, enter its grade and units. Swipe a row to delete it.
Android uses the Philippine **1.00 to 5.00** scale, where **1.00** is best and **3.00** usually passes.
## Choose your grading scale [#choose-your-grading-scale]
On iPhone and iPad, you can choose the **1.00–5.00** scale or a **4.00** scale.
Changing the scale changes how saved numbers are read. It does not convert or rewrite your grades. A grade outside the selected scale is marked so you can check it.
Latin-honors labels use the 1.00–5.00 scale only.
Android currently uses the 1.00–5.00 scale.
## Latin honors [#latin-honors]
MySched shows these common reference bands for the 1.00–5.00 scale:
* **Summa Cum Laude**: 1.00 to 1.20.
* **Magna Cum Laude**: 1.21 to 1.45.
* **Cum Laude**: 1.46 to 1.75.
Schools may use different rules. Check your registrar for the official requirements.

# Import (/docs/import)
Import turns your timetable into a schedule you can use in MySched. You can start with a screenshot, pasted text, an official school schedule, or manual entry.
Open import from **+ ▸ Import schedule**, **More ▸ Manage schedule**, the empty schedule screen, or setup. You can also share schedule images to MySched from Photos or Files.
## Import a screenshot [#import-a-screenshot]
1. Take a clear screenshot of your timetable.
2. Open import and select up to five images.
3. MySched reads them on your device and creates a draft.
4. Review the draft, correct it, and save.
Use a clear image that shows the full schedule table. Blurry or tightly cropped images are harder to read.
Screenshot reading starts on your device. The optional AI reader is a separate choice; nothing is sent until you agree. See [AI schedule reader](/docs/ai-import).
On iPhone and iPad, if your device leaves you in Photos or Files, open MySched yourself and continue the waiting import.
## Paste text instead [#paste-text-instead]
Choose the text option and paste your timetable. MySched turns the text into class rows, then opens the same review screen.
## Add classes by hand [#add-classes-by-hand]
Choose **Add manually** when you have only a few classes or the text is too hard to read. Enter each class yourself.
## Review what was detected [#review-what-was-detected]
Nothing is saved until you confirm it.
* Tap a class to correct its details.
* Remove rows you do not need.
* Check every day, time, room, and course code.
* Tap **Save** when the list is correct.
When an import fails, MySched explains the problem and gives you a next action when it can.
## Official schedules and directory schools [#official-schedules-and-directory-schools]
Some schools provide an **Official schedule** by school, term, and section. Choose **Find your school**
when that integration is available. A school shown in the directory may only be **Directory only**:
its identity is available for customization, but no official timetable is implied. Use a screenshot,
pasted text, PDF, or manual entry for that school.
If the school is absent, choose **Use a custom school** and keep its name, campus, city or province,
and nickname with the local schedule. You can import immediately; [request the school](/request) for
catalog review separately.

# MySched Help (/docs)
MySched keeps your **class schedule, reminders, tasks, and attendance** together on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Start without an account, import the timetable you already have, and review every class before saving.
These guides use plain language and call out the few places where iPhone, iPad, and Android work differently.
Most of the app works the same on both platforms: importing, the Dashboard and Week views, tasks, attendance, grades, exams, reminders, widgets, sharing, and sync. Account and privacy controls are close but **not** identical, so check the page you are reading.
Some features are currently iPhone and iPad only: Live Activities, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, the 4.00 grade scale, editing a classmate's schedule before saving, and copying or combining classes in one step.
Android also has launcher shortcuts, Quick Settings tiles, and extra lock-screen privacy controls.

## App map [#app-map]
The tab bar has **Dashboard, Week, Tasks, More,** and a separate **+** action. Use **+** for a new task, a new class, or schedule import. More contains schedule management, student tools, settings, support, and account controls.
You can import a schedule, including a classmate's shared schedule, and use
the core app without signing in. An account adds supported cross-device sync
and is required to publish a shared schedule, follow it across devices, confirm
it, or report it.

# Live Activities (/docs/live-activities)
Live Activities are an iPhone and iPad feature. Android uses widgets and an ongoing-class notification for similar quick access.
A **Class Live Activity** keeps your current class on the **Lock Screen** and, on supported iPhones, the **Dynamic Island**. It shows a countdown and an **I'm here** button.
## Turn on automatic display [#turn-on-automatic-display]
Open **More ▸ Settings**, find **Live Activity**, and turn on **Show automatically**.
When the app is open, Dashboard can start or update the current class. iOS may also start one while the app is closed, but delivery is controlled by iOS and is not guaranteed.
## What it shows [#what-it-shows]
* The course, room, and countdown to the end of class.
* A compact view when the Dynamic Island is tucked away.
* **I'm here** to mark yourself present for that meeting.
Check that Live Activities are allowed for MySched in the Settings app. You can also open **Dashboard** while the class is in progress; MySched can start the activity from there.

# Permissions (/docs/permissions)
MySched asks for access only when a feature needs it. The schedule works without every permission.
On iPhone and iPad, the main optional permissions are:
* **Notifications** for class, task, and summary alerts.
* **Location While Using** to sort nearby schools.
* **Calendar** to add class events.
* **Reminders** to add items to Apple's Reminders app.
* **Selected photos** for screenshots or a profile image you choose.
Android uses its own permission screens. The photo picker gives MySched access only to images you select; it does not need broad photo-library access. Android may also ask for location, notifications, or Calendar access for the matching features.
## Notifications [#notifications]
Allow notifications when you turn on reminders. If you deny them, your schedule still works without alerts.
On iPhone or iPad, change this in **Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ MySched**.
On Android, open MySched's notification settings from the app or system Settings.
## Nearby schools [#nearby-schools]
Location is optional. MySched uses one location reading to sort nearby schools after you ask for it. Search by school name if you do not want to share location.
On iPhone or iPad, change this in **Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Location Services ▸ MySched**.
## Apple Calendar [#apple-calendar]
On iPhone and iPad, MySched asks for write-only Calendar access so it can add class events. It does not read your existing calendars.
Whole-schedule export on Android asks for Calendar access.
A calendar subscription link does not let MySched read your calendar.
Change calendar access in your device's privacy settings.
## Apple Reminders [#apple-reminders]
On iPhone and iPad, creating an item in Apple's Reminders app needs Reminders access. This is separate from reminders inside MySched.
## Photos and shared images [#photos-and-shared-images]
MySched uses the system picker, so it can read only the screenshots or profile image you choose. You can also share images from Photos or Files to MySched.
Normal screenshot reading stays on your device. Images leave the device only if you choose the [optional AI schedule reader](/docs/ai-import).
## Live Activities and background refresh [#live-activities-and-background-refresh]
On iPhone and iPad, Live Activities can be disabled in the MySched settings page. Background App Refresh may help update an official schedule, but iOS controls when it runs.
On Android, widgets and class notifications use Android's notification and battery settings instead.

# Study Plan (/docs/planner)
**Study Plan** suggests when to work on your open tasks around your classes. Open it from the calendar button in **Tasks**, or from **More ▸ Study Plan**.
## Get a suggested study week [#get-a-suggested-study-week]
* MySched places open tasks into free time as suggested study blocks.
* Tap **+** on a block to add it to Tasks. The new task starts at the block's time and can have a reminder.
* Turn on **Exams mode** to make longer blocks for your actual upcoming exams.
The plan is made on your device. It is not a separate saved calendar. Only blocks you add to Tasks become saved tasks and follow the normal sync rules.
An empty plan usually means you have no open tasks or no free time left this
week. Exams mode needs an upcoming exam with enough free time before its
scheduled start.

# Reminders & notifications (/docs/reminders)
MySched can send a reminder before each class, an optional daily summary, and reminders for tasks.
## Class reminders [#class-reminders]
Turn them on in **More ▸ Settings ▸ Daily**. Choose **5, 15, 30,** or **60 minutes** before class. You can also set a **leave-now buffer** for the first class of the day.
Class reminders can include:
* **I'm here**: saves a Present check-in.
* **Snooze 10 min**: sends another reminder in 10 minutes.
If notifications are blocked, the reminder cannot appear.
On Android, battery settings can also make a reminder late.
## Daily summary [#daily-summary]
Under **Summaries** in Settings, you can turn on:
* **Morning summary**: the day's classes.
* **Evening preview**: tomorrow's first class and class count.
Choose the time for each one. The evening preview is off by default.
## Task reminders [#task-reminders]
A task can remind you at its due time, or **10 minutes**, **1 hour**, or **1 day** before. See [Tasks](/docs/tasks).
## About the notification limit [#about-the-notification-limit]
On iPhone and iPad, the device limits how many reminders an app can schedule. MySched keeps class reminders separate from summaries and task reminders, but some farther-out reminders may not be scheduled when there are many reminders.
If reminders are late or missing on Android, check MySched notifications and battery settings.

The **Week** tab opens your timetable. The screen title is **Schedule**.

Use the view menu to choose a layout. Your choice is remembered.
* **Agenda**: day-by-day sections.
* **Week**: a time grid with one column per day.
* **Month**: a calendar grid with your classes on each day.
* **List**: compact rows grouped by day.
## Search [#search]
Search by class, room, or instructor. MySched checks the course code, title, room, and instructor name.
## Mark and edit from here [#mark-and-edit-from-here]
Open a class to see its details or use the available check-in action for today's class. Only classes you added yourself can be deleted or edited.
## Copy one day onto other days [#copy-one-day-onto-other-days]
On iPhone and iPad, long-press a day header in Week view and choose **Copy day to other days**. Review the target days, then confirm. Official school classes are not copied.
Android does not have the copy-day action. Add the needed classes from **More ▸ Manage schedule** instead.
## Change your schedule [#change-your-schedule]
Go to **More ▸ Manage schedule** to re-import classes, change an official section, choose another school, or clear the schedule.
If the schedule is empty, use **Set up schedule** or **Manage schedule** to start an import.

For schedules without official term dates, you can turn on **Remind me to import next term** and set **Semester ends**.
When a term ends, MySched can archive it so you can keep its grades and attendance for reference.
## Schedule [#schedule]
This section shows read-only details such as your **school, term, term status, section,** and **last synced** time.
### Export to Calendar [#export-to-calendar]
**Add all to Apple Calendar** on iPhone and iPad adds your schedule as recurring events. It is a copy: later MySched changes do not update events already exported. Exporting again may create duplicates.
The matching Calendar export on Android adds your schedule as recurring events too.
### Sync to Google or Apple Calendar [#sync-to-google-or-apple-calendar]
This creates a private subscription link for your schedule. Add the link to a calendar app once, and the calendar can refresh it as your schedule changes.
* The link publishes your schedule out. Calendar edits do not change MySched, and MySched does not read your existing calendars.
* On iPhone and iPad, **Open in Apple Calendar** can subscribe directly.
- On Android, copy or share the link, then add it from your calendar app.
* In Google Calendar on the web, use **Settings → Add calendar → From URL**.
* Treat the link like a password. Anyone who has it can read the schedule.
* **Stop calendar sync** revokes the link. Remove the old subscription from your calendar app too.
The feed uses Philippine time (Asia/Manila). Calendar sync needs an account and an internet connection to create or revoke the link.
## Account and data when signed out [#account-and-data-when-signed-out]
When signed out, Settings shows **Data storage: On this device**, **Sign In or Create Account**, and **Export My Data**. When signed in, profile actions, export, **Sign Out**, and **Delete Account** are in the account row at the top of **More**.

# Sharing (/docs/sharing)
You can export an image of your schedule. When **Classmates** is available, you can also share schedules directly.
## Share your schedule as an image [#share-your-schedule-as-an-image]
Image export needs no account. Open **More ▸ Share**.
1. Choose a **share card** or **wallpaper**.
2. Check the preview.
3. Tap **Share Image**.
Save a wallpaper to Photos if you want to use it on your Lock Screen.
## Classmate schedules [#classmate-schedules]
If **Classmates** is missing from **More ▸ Share**, it is not available right now. You can still share an image.
When Classmates is available:
* **Share yours**: create a link and QR code from **More ▸ Share ▸ Classmates**. Publishing needs an account.
* **Join by code or link**: enter a classmate's code or link, review the classes, and save the ones you need. Joining does not require an account.
On iPhone and iPad, you can edit or remove rows during the join review.
Android's join review is read-only, so check the source schedule before saving.
Anyone with your link can preview and save the shared schedule. Revoking your link stops new access; classes someone already saved stay on their device.
### Keeping shared schedules trustworthy [#keeping-shared-schedules-trustworthy]
After joining, sign in to use **Looks correct** or **Report a problem**. These actions help other students decide whether to trust the schedule.
You can leave a joined schedule from **More ▸ Classmate schedule**. Leaving removes the classes brought in by that join, not classes you added yourself.
## Which one do I want? [#which-one-do-i-want]
MySched has several ways to get your schedule out of the app, and they are not
interchangeable. Picking the wrong one is the usual reason something "did not
work".

Three of these are often mixed up, so to be blunt about it:
* **An image is not a schedule.** Someone who receives one has to retype it.
* **Calendar export goes to your calendar, not to another person.** It does not
send anything to anyone.
* **Together never shares your classes.** It shares whether you are busy. Your
subjects, rooms and instructors stay on your device.
### Why some options are missing [#why-some-options-are-missing]
If **Classmates**, **Together**, or **Campus** is not in your app, it is not
available to you right now. That is a setting on our side, not something you
broke, and nothing you have done is lost.
### What a Campus link means [#what-a-campus-link-means]
A Campus link comes from your school and is marked as verified. A schedule a
classmate sends you is not, however careful they were, and MySched will not
label it as though it came from your school. If you are looking at a schedule
and it does not say it came from your school, treat it as a classmate's copy and
check anything that matters.

# Siri, Shortcuts & Spotlight (/docs/siri-shortcuts)
Siri, Apple Shortcuts, Spotlight, and Handoff are iPhone and iPad features. Android provides launcher shortcuts and Quick Settings tiles for some quick actions instead.
On iPhone and iPad, MySched works with Siri, the Shortcuts app, and Spotlight.
## Say it to Siri [#say-it-to-siri]
Say **MySched** in the request, for example, “What's my next class in MySched?”
* **Next class**: “What's my next class?”
* **Check in**: “Check in to class.”
* **New task**: “Add a task.”
* **New class**: “Add a class.”
* **Import a screenshot**: “Scan schedule.”
* **What's due today**: “What are my deadlines?”
* **Attendance**: “How's my attendance?”
* **Am I free**: “Do I have class?”
Next class, due today, attendance, and **Am I free** can answer without opening the app. Other actions open MySched at the right screen.

In the **Shortcuts** app, add **Next class for a course** and choose the course as its input.
## Spotlight & Handoff [#spotlight--handoff]
* Search your classes in **Spotlight** by code, title, day, or room.

# Sync & offline (/docs/sync-and-offline)
MySched shows your last saved data even when you have no connection. Signed-in records sync when the app is active and connected.
## Offline-first [#offline-first]
Open MySched to see your saved schedule offline. When it is not current, the app shows an offline message and the last sync time. Pull to refresh after you reconnect.
## What syncs [#what-syncs]
You need an account for sync.

Supported records can sync between iPhone, iPad, and Android when you use the same account.
A schedule joined from a classmate stays on the Android device where you joined it.
If you change the same record on two devices, one edit can replace the other. Check both devices after making changes while offline.
## When syncing happens [#when-syncing-happens]
Open MySched while signed in and connected to sync tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams. MySched does not keep a permanent live connection open.
An official school schedule may also refresh in the background on iPhone and iPad. The system chooses when that happens, so it is not guaranteed. Open the app to get a current view.
## Signing out [#signing-out]
Signing out clears local student data from that device. Synced schedule records, tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams can return after you sign in again. Device-only notes, Study Plan suggestions, and import drafts do not.

# Tasks (/docs/tasks)
The **Tasks** tab is the home for assignments, to-dos, and exams. The default
**All** view keeps active work in one date-based timeline: **Overdue, Today,
Upcoming, No date, Completed,** and a collapsed **Past Exams** history.
Use the filter menu to show only **Tasks** or **Exams**, combine that choice
with a class filter, or return to **All**. Exams carry an **Exam** label and
remain scheduled events rather than checkable tasks.
## Add a task [#add-a-task]
* **Quick add**: type in **Add a task** and press return. MySched can read a date in your text, such as “essay due Friday 3 PM.” If there is no date, it uses today at 5 PM.
* **Full editor**: tap **+** to set the details yourself.
In the full editor, you can add a title, notes, class, due date, and reminder. A task reminder can be at the due time, or **10 minutes**, **1 hour**, or **1 day** before.
To add an exam, tap **+**, choose **New exam**, then add its date, time, class,
and coverage. Exam countdowns and the Next Exam widget continue to use that
scheduled time. Exams do not have task completion or reminder controls.
If notifications are off, a task reminder cannot appear. Use the **Open Settings** action MySched provides.
## Manage your list [#manage-your-list]
* Filter by type and course, or search tasks and exams.
* Mark a task **Done** or **Reopen** it.
* Delete a task and use **Undo** if you changed your mind.
* Show or hide **Completed**, or clear completed tasks.
* Open an exam to inspect or edit its date, class, and coverage. Once its time
passes, it moves to the collapsed **Past Exams** section.
From Dashboard, you can also finish a task or move it to tomorrow.
If a task has a due date, you can add it to your calendar. On iPhone and iPad, you can also add it to Apple Reminders.
## Study Plan [#study-plan]
Open the calendar button in Tasks for **Study Plan**, a suggested week of study blocks. Each block is tied to a task. Tap **+** to add one as a “Study: …” task.
Turn on **Exams mode** to make longer blocks from your actual upcoming exam
records. MySched uses each exam's scheduled time as the deadline; it does not
guess from words in task titles. The plan is made on your device, and study
blocks you add are ordinary tasks that follow the normal sync rules.

The first tab is **Dashboard** on iPhone and iPad. It puts the next useful thing at the top.
On Android, this tab is called **Today**.
## On a school day [#on-a-school-day]
You can see:
* your current or next class and its countdown;
* today's classes in order, with the current class highlighted;
* tasks due today;
* your class load for the week; and
* your attendance rate or an at-risk course.
## On a light day [#on-a-light-day]
When there are no classes or unfinished tasks, MySched shows your next class, tasks due soon, the weekly class load, and attendance.
If a class ended without a check-in, a reminder can appear near the top.

* Tap a class to open its details and mark attendance.
* Use **I'm here** when it appears for a current class.
* Mark a task **Done**, delete it, or move it to tomorrow.
* Pull down to refresh.

Most problems are caused by notifications, a missing connection, or data that stays on one device.
## Reminders aren't showing [#reminders-arent-showing]
* Turn on **Notify me before class** in **More ▸ Settings**.
* Allow MySched notifications in your device settings.
* On iPhone and iPad, the number of scheduled notifications is limited. See [Reminders](/docs/reminders).
If reminders may be late on Android, also check battery settings.
## My schedule looks empty or out of date [#my-schedule-looks-empty-or-out-of-date]
If you see an offline message, MySched is showing saved data. Reconnect, open the app, and pull down to refresh. See [Sync & offline](/docs/sync-and-offline).
## My tasks or attendance aren't syncing [#my-tasks-or-attendance-arent-syncing]
* Sign in on both devices with the same account.
* Open MySched on both devices while connected.
* Wait for the sync to finish. Your changes stay on the device if the connection fails and can sync later.
## My grades or exams don't sync [#my-grades-or-exams-dont-sync]
Grades and exams sync only when you are signed in and the app is active. Open MySched on both devices while connected.
Class notes, Study Plan suggestions, and import drafts stay on the device where you made them. Export your data from **More ▸ Profile** or **Settings** if you need a copy. See [Account & privacy](/docs/account).
## My Study Plan looks empty [#my-study-plan-looks-empty]
The plan needs open tasks and free time. **Exams mode** uses actual upcoming
exam records, so check the exam's date and time in Tasks and make sure there is
free time before it starts. See [Study Plan](/docs/planner).
## My import didn't detect any classes [#my-import-didnt-detect-any-classes]
Use a clear image that shows the full schedule table. If it still finds nothing, paste the timetable text or add the classes by hand. See [Import](/docs/import).
## The AI reader is missing, busy, or rejected my screenshot [#the-ai-reader-is-missing-busy-or-rejected-my-screenshot]
* AI is optional. The on-device reader and manual entry still work.
* Wait a moment before trying again if AI is busy or you have reached a usage limit.
* Choose fewer, clearer images.
* Keep the local result, paste the timetable text, or add classes manually.

## Import created duplicate classes [#import-created-duplicate-classes]
Stop before saving and remove duplicate rows from the review screen. If they are already saved, open **More ▸ Manage schedule** and check whether you added to the existing schedule instead of replacing it.
Remove only the duplicate classes you own. For official classes, fix the source schedule or change the section. If duplicates appeared after using two devices, let both devices finish syncing before deleting them again. See [Sync & offline](/docs/sync-and-offline).
## I shared screenshots to MySched, but the app did not open [#i-shared-screenshots-to-mysched-but-the-app-did-not-open]
Open MySched manually from Photos or Files and continue the waiting import. If the images are no longer there, start the import again from **+ ▸ Import schedule**.
## My widget shows an old schedule [#my-widget-shows-an-old-schedule]
Widgets use the last data MySched gave them. Open the app, reconnect if needed, and refresh the schedule. See [Widgets & controls](/docs/widgets).
## I can't sign in, or the code didn't arrive [#i-cant-sign-in-or-the-code-didnt-arrive]
* Check spam and other email folders.
* Use **Resend code** after the short wait.
* Check that the email address is correct.
## A permission was denied [#a-permission-was-denied]
Open your device's settings for MySched and turn the permission back on if you want that feature.
On iPhone and iPad:
* notifications: **Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ MySched**;
* location, Calendar, or Reminders: **Settings ▸ Privacy & Security**;
* Live Activities: the MySched page in the Settings app.
On Android, open **Settings ▸ Apps ▸ MySched ▸ Permissions** or the notification settings.

**Custom school** when the school is absent, then [request the school](/request) for directory review.
## Account deletion failed [#account-deletion-failed]
Deletion needs a connection. Reconnect, reopen MySched, and try **More ▸ Profile ▸ Delete Account** again.
If the account still signs in afterward, send a [support request](/support) from the account email. Do not send your password or verification code.
## A shared link opened the website instead of MySched [#a-shared-link-opened-the-website-instead-of-mysched]
Open MySched and use **Join with code** when Classmates is available, or copy the code from the link. The website is a safe fallback when the app is not installed or cannot open the link.
If Classmates is unavailable, ask the sender for a schedule image. See [Sharing](/docs/sharing).
## My data disappeared after sign-out or reinstall [#my-data-disappeared-after-sign-out-or-reinstall]
Signing out or deleting the app clears local data. After signing in again, your saved schedule, tasks, attendance, custom classes, grades, and exams can return from sync.
Class notes, Study Plan suggestions, and import drafts stay on one device and do not return after sign-out or reinstall. Restore them from an earlier **Export My Data** file if you kept one. See [Account & privacy](/docs/account).
## A widget or Live Activity check-in didn't count [#a-widget-or-live-activity-check-in-didnt-count]
Open MySched during the same week so it can import the saved check-in. See [Attendance](/docs/attendance).
## The Live Activity didn't start on its own [#the-live-activity-didnt-start-on-its-own]
On iPhone and iPad, turn on **Show automatically** in **More ▸ Settings**. Open **Dashboard** while the class is in progress if it still does not appear. Live Activity delivery depends on iOS settings and is not guaranteed. See [Live Activities](/docs/live-activities).
Android does not use Live Activities. Check the ongoing-class notification or a MySched widget instead.
# Widgets & controls (/docs/widgets)
MySched widgets show saved schedule information without opening the app. They do not fetch a new schedule from the internet by themselves.
## Widgets [#widgets]
Long-press your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap **+** or **Edit**, and search for **MySched**. The available sizes and names depend on your device.
### Your day [#your-day]
* **Schedule**: the current or next class, with time and room.
* **Today's Agenda**: today's classes and tasks.
* **Week**: your class load by weekday.
* **Month Calendar**: classes this month.
* **Next Free Time**: whether you are free now or when your next class starts.
### Work and deadlines [#work-and-deadlines]
* **Tasks Due**: overdue and due-today tasks.
* **Next Deadline**: your next task.
* **Next Exam**: your next exam and its coverage.
* **Study Plan**: study blocks you added to Tasks.
### How the term is going [#how-the-term-is-going]
* **Attendance**: your overall percentage and a course that needs attention.
* **GWA**: your current grade-weighted average.
* **Term Countdown**: how long remains in the term.
* **Dashboard** and **Academic Overview**: combined study information.
On iPhone and iPad, you can edit placed **Schedule**, **Today's Agenda**, **Tasks Due**, **Attendance**, and **Next Free Time** widgets to change what they show.
Android widgets do not have the same per-widget options.
Some widgets include **I'm here**. The check-in is saved for MySched to import when the app opens. See [Attendance](/docs/attendance).
### Tinted and Clear Home Screens [#tinted-and-clear-home-screens]
On iPhone and iPad, widgets stay readable when the Home Screen uses a **Tinted** or **Clear** appearance. Course colors may be removed by iOS in these modes, but the course code, text, and icons remain.
## Controls [#controls]
On iPhone and iPad, MySched has controls for:
* opening your schedule;
* opening screenshot import; and
* opening the new-task editor.
Add one from **Control Center ▸ + ▸ Add a Control**, then choose **MySched**.
Android uses launcher shortcuts and Quick Settings tiles for similar quick actions instead of iPhone and iPad Controls.

# Data and security (/docs/for-schools/data-and-security)
The school flow is for timetables you already publish. It is not a student records system, and we do not want student records in it.
## What we need [#what-we-need]
The school name, the term, the courses and sections, the days and times each class meets, the rooms, and the instructor names. We also keep the contact details of the person we are working with, and a note of when each file was sent, so we can run the partnership.
## What you must not send [#what-you-must-not-send]
* student names, student numbers, emails, or phone numbers;
* grades, attendance, discipline, financial, or health records;
* passwords, or any export from your portal that contains logins; or
* any document wider than the class timetable.
If a file goes out with student information in it by mistake, email [support@getmysched.com](mailto:support@getmysched.com) straight away and tell us the school and the file name. Do not paste the private upload link into that message, or into any group chat.
## How the upload link is protected [#how-the-upload-link-is-protected]
* Your upload link contains a long random code that only goes to your named contact.
* We do not keep a readable copy of that code, only a scrambled version we can check against.
* The link works once. After it is used, or after it expires, it stops working.
* We check the size and type of every file before accepting it.
* Timetable files go into private storage. They are not on the public web, and there is no address anyone can guess.
* The upload page in your browser is never given the keys that would let it read anything else.
## How preview links are protected [#how-preview-links-are-protected]
Preview and confirmation links work the same way, and they show only the submission being reviewed. Nothing else in our system is readable from them.
We also ask search engines not to list these pages. That is good practice, but the secret in the link is what actually protects it, not the search engine request. Treat the link like a password and forward it only to people who are meant to review it.
## What students can and cannot see [#what-students-can-and-cannot-see]
Publishing a timetable makes the class meeting times available to students who pick that school, term, and section. It does not give your school any access to a student's MySched account or their personal records.
Tasks, attendance, grades, notes, exams, reminders, and app settings all sit outside the school flow entirely. Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) covers the app and website in full.
## Staying in control [#staying-in-control]
Your school owns its timetable information. You can ask us to correct it, replace it, take it down, or end the partnership at any time. We check any such request with your named contact before we act on it.

# MySched for schools (/docs/for-schools)
MySched helps a school turn its existing class timetable into an official schedule students can use on iPhone, iPad, and Android. The partnership is free and non-exclusive. Your school keeps ownership of the source data and can request an update or removal.
## What the school provides [#what-the-school-provides]
Send the published class timetable: course codes and titles, sections, meeting days and times, rooms, instructor names, and the term those classes belong to.
Do **not** include student names, student numbers, grades, attendance, contact details, or other student records. MySched's school import needs timetable data, not enrollment data.
## How the partnership works [#how-the-partnership-works]
1. **Apply.** Complete the form on [MySched for schools](/schools) with your institution and contact details.
2. **Agree.** We confirm the timetable scope and the school contact authorized to approve it.
3. **Upload.** The contact receives a private, one-time link for the existing timetable file.
4. **Import.** The MySched team prepares the timetable using the mobile admin pipeline.
5. **Review.** The school receives a private preview link and checks the file, term, and status.
6. **Confirm and publish.** Confirmation marks the submission approved; the MySched team completes publication and activates the term.
The MySched team handles the import and publication between the upload and review steps. Contact the team if a deadline or correction is urgent.
## What students receive [#what-students-receive]
Students can select the official school, term, and section available in MySched. The app stores their chosen schedule and gives them personal reminders, tasks, attendance, and appearance controls.
The school does not receive a view of a student's personal tasks, attendance, grades, notes, or account activity through this partnership flow.

# Term updates (/docs/for-schools/term-updates)
Each published timetable belongs to a term. MySched keeps term changes separate so a new upload does not silently overwrite the active schedule before review.
## Before the next term [#before-the-next-term]
For active partners with a recorded next-term start date, MySched's scheduled renewal process can open a new submission about three weeks before the term and create a new upload link. The link expires after 30 days.
Only one unpublished renewal stays open for a partner at a time. This avoids duplicate submissions if the daily renewal job runs again.
Email delivery and the recorded next-term date still matter. If no renewal link arrives, contact support rather than waiting until classes begin.
## Submit the new timetable [#submit-the-new-timetable]
Use the new term's private link; do not reuse an earlier upload or preview URL. The same upload, import, review, confirmation, and publication steps apply to every term.
The previous active term remains separate while the new term is prepared. The MySched team publishes the approved data and selects the active term after confirmation.
## Correct a timetable [#correct-a-timetable]
If a course, section, time, room, or instructor is wrong:
1. Contact [Support](/support) from the authorized school email.
2. Name the school, term, section, and exact rows that changed.
3. Say whether the correction is urgent and when it takes effect.
4. Wait for a replacement upload or review link if one is needed.
Do not use an old one-time upload link or submit a second partnership application for a correction.
## Unpublish or end the partnership [#unpublish-or-end-the-partnership]
An authorized school contact can request that a term be unpublished, its timetable be removed, or the partnership end. MySched verifies the request before changing published data so a student or unrelated sender cannot remove a school schedule.
## Students seeing an old term [#students-seeing-an-old-term]
Students should pull to refresh while online. iOS may refresh an official timetable in the background, but its timing is not guaranteed. If the published term is correct and a device still shows old data, ask the student to follow [Sync & offline](/docs/sync-and-offline) and contact support with the app version and school. Please do not send screenshots that contain private account information.

# Upload and review (/docs/for-schools/upload-and-review)
After a school is approved, its authorized contact receives a private upload link. Use that link only for the timetable covered by the partnership.
## Accepted files [#accepted-files]
Upload one file, up to **15 MB**:
* CSV or plain text: `.csv`, `.txt`
* Excel: `.xls`, `.xlsx`
* PDF: `.pdf`
* image: `.png`, `.jpg`, `.jpeg`
The server checks the file contents as well as the extension. Renaming an unsupported file does not make it valid. Password-protected or empty files cannot be processed.
For the cleanest import, include a clear header row and keep course, section, day, time, room, and instructor values in separate columns where possible.
## Use the upload link [#use-the-upload-link]
1. Open the link sent to the authorized school contact.
2. Drop the timetable onto the page or choose it from the device.
3. Check the filename and size.
4. Choose **Send schedule** and keep the page open until it says **Schedule received**.
The link contains a secret, so treat it like a password. We never keep a readable copy of it. Once a file goes through, that link stops working.
If the upload fails part way, the link frees up so you can try again. If the page says the link has expired or has already been used, email support and we will send a new one.
## What happens next [#what-happens-next]
The MySched team checks and imports the file. The preview page currently shows:
* the term label;
* the original filename; and
* the submission status.
It does not yet show every imported meeting. The school should use the separate review material provided by the team to verify course, section, day, time, room, and instructor details before confirming.
## Confirm the term [#confirm-the-term]
When the status is **Verifying**, use the confirmation action on the private preview page. Confirmation marks the submission approved. Publication and active-term selection are still completed by the MySched team.
An expired preview link fails closed and does not reveal the submission. If your school receives a newer link, use that one and ask support whether the earlier link is still active.
## Upload problems [#upload-problems]
* **Over 15 MB:** export a smaller file or contact support before splitting it.
* **Unsupported type:** use one of the formats above; do not only rename the extension.
* **Network interruption:** retry the same link. If it was already consumed, request a new one.
* **Wrong file uploaded:** contact support immediately; do not send a second file through an unrelated link.
