Account & Privacy

Your account

Your account backs up your schedule, syncs it across devices, and saves your preferences. Sign in with Google, Apple (iPhone only), or email and password.

If you use email, you'll verify your address with a code. This also enables password recovery.

Managing your account

All account actions are in Settings:

  • Change email — update your address and verify the new one
  • Change password — enter your current password and set a new one
  • Login history — see recent sign-ins with dates and locations
  • Manage devices — review active sessions and sign out ones you don't recognize
  • Delete account — permanently remove everything (see below)

Forgot your password? Tap Forgot Password on the login screen to reset via email.

What MySched stores

Your schedule data — class names, times, rooms, instructors. Plus your account credentials (encrypted), app preferences, reminders, and basic usage analytics if you've opted in.

MySched does not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or photos beyond the scan you take.

Where your data lives

On your device (encrypted local storage) and on the server (encrypted backup). Data in transit is also encrypted.

Deleting your account

Go to Settings and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, all schedule data, preferences, reminders, shared links, and local data.

This cannot be undone. Make sure you no longer need your schedule before confirming.
