Quick answers to the most common MySched questions.
Do I have to type in my schedule?
No. The quickest way is to import a screenshot of your timetable: MySched reads it on your device and you confirm the classes. You can also paste text or add classes by hand. See Import.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Your classes, tasks, and attendance sync across your devices, and your Apple Watch too. When the same thing is edited in two places, the most recent edit wins.
Does it work offline?
Yes. MySched shows your last saved schedule instantly, even with no signal, and syncs when you're back online. See Sync & offline.
Can I add a class that isn't in my schedule?
Yes. Tap + and make a custom class, like a club, tutorial, or study block. Custom classes are the only ones you can edit or delete. See Classes.
How is my attendance percentage calculated?
Present and Late both count as attended. Absent counts against you. Excused is left out entirely. So your rate is (present + late) over (present + late + absent). See Attendance.
Can MySched track my grades and GWA?
Yes. Open More ▸ Grades, add each course's grade and units, and MySched keeps a running GWA with a Latin-honors reference. Grades stay on your device and never sync. See Grades.
Can I add my exams?
Yes. More ▸ Exams keeps your midterms and finals with a date and what they cover, grouped into upcoming and past. Exams stay on your device. See Exams.
What is the Study Plan?
It's a suggested week of study blocks built from your classes and open tasks, in the Tasks tab. You can add any block to your tasks in one tap. See Plan & study.
Why didn't my class reminder show up?
Two common reasons: notifications are off for MySched, or you're over the limit. iOS caps an app at 64 scheduled notifications, and MySched reserves 44 for class reminders. See Reminders.
I checked in from a widget or my watch. Why isn't it counted?
Widget and watch check-ins are saved, then become a Present record when you open that class the same week. See Attendance.
How do I change my section?
Open More ▸ Manage Schedule to run the import again and pick a different section. See Your schedule.
Can I use a classmate's schedule?
When your school has this turned on, yes. You can join a classmate's shared schedule by code or link, and share your own. It's off by default for now. See Sharing.
Is my data private?
Your data is scoped to your account, we don't sell it, and we don't run ads. You can delete your account any time from Preferences. See our Privacy Policy.
