Your full list of classes for the term — days, times, rooms, instructors — shown on the main screen.

Semester

One academic term. Each schedule in MySched belongs to a single semester.

A specific division of a course with its own days, times, and room. Your card shows which section you're in.

Scan

Pointing your camera at a registration card so MySched can import your classes.

Crop

Trimming the scanned image to just the schedule area for better accuracy.

Dashboard

The home screen showing today's classes, reminders, and quick actions.

Reminder

A notification before class starts. You pick the timing — 5, 15, or 30 minutes ahead.

Alarm

Android only. A full-screen alert with dismiss and snooze, like your phone's alarm clock. More noticeable than a standard notification.

Room Finder

Search for rooms by time and day to see which are free or occupied.

Instructor Finder

Look up an instructor's teaching schedule and availability.

Offline Mode

Your schedule works without internet after it's saved. You only need connectivity to download, sign in, and sync.

Sync

Backing up your schedule to the server so you can recover it on another device. Happens automatically when online.

Conflict

Two classes overlapping in time on the same day. MySched warns you so you can fix it.

A URL that lets someone view your schedule in their browser. They don't need the app.

PDF Export

A printable document of your weekly schedule.

Theme

Light, dark, or system-matched appearance for the app.

Accent Color

A custom color for buttons and highlights throughout the app.

Dynamic Color

Android's Material You feature — pulls colors from your wallpaper and applies them to the app.

Battery Optimization

An Android setting that can close background apps. May need adjustment if reminders aren't firing.
