Dashboard

The dashboard is what you see when you open the app. It's a summary, not a deep dive — today's classes, pending reminders, and shortcuts to the things you do most.

Layout

The screen is organized into cards:

  • Schedule card — your next class or a rundown of today's lineup (times, rooms, instructors).
  • Reminders card — upcoming notifications with their countdown.
  • Messages card — system announcements, if there are any.

Quick actions

Four shortcuts sit below the cards:

  • Scan — scan a new registration card
  • Add class — add a class manually
  • Room Finder — look up available rooms
  • Instructor Finder — look up an instructor's schedule

These save you from navigating through menus for common tasks.

Refreshing

Pull down to refresh. Online, this syncs with the server. Offline, it reloads from local storage — your schedule is always accessible either way.

Semester

The dashboard shows your current semester's schedule. If you have past terms saved, you can switch from the schedule screen or settings. When a new term starts, scan a fresh card.
