Preferences
Appearance, reminders, the daily summary, Live Activities, and your account.
Preferences is the settings sheet inside the app. Open the More tab and tap Preferences at the bottom. A few things you might expect here live one level up in More instead, so this page covers both.
What lives in More, not Preferences
The More tab is the hub for everything outside the four tabs. These are separate screens, not settings rows.
- Manage Schedule: import again, add a class, or change your section.
- Attendance, Grades, Exams, and Plan.
- Class Look: per-course colors and icons.
- Schedule Image: export your schedule as a share card or wallpaper.

Appearance
- Theme: System, Light, or Dark.
- Accent: pick a color, or Default for a clean monochrome look.
- Course colors & icons: personalize each course. Your choices flow to the widgets and watch too.
Class Reminders
- Notify me before class: on or off.
- Remind me: 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes before.
- Leave-now buffer: fire the first reminder of the day even earlier, to give you time to get to campus.
If iOS notifications are off, MySched shows a shortcut to turn them on.
Daily Summary
- Morning summary: that day's classes, at a time you choose (7 AM by default).
- Evening preview: tomorrow's first class and class count, the evening before a class day. Off by default.
Live Activity
- Show automatically: shows the current class on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while it's happening. Off by default. See Live Activities.
Semester
This section appears only for screenshot or pasted schedules, which don't include term dates.
- Remind me to import next term: turn it on and set Semester ends, and MySched nudges you to import next term's schedule when the time comes.
Schedule
Read-only info about your term: school, term, term status, section, and last synced, plus a link to Attendance and Add all to Apple Calendar (exports your whole schedule as recurring events).
Account
- Your name and the email you're signed in as.
- Export My Data: save everything as a JSON file. See Account & privacy.
- Sign Out.
About
Links to the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Contact Support, plus the app version.
Delete Account
At the bottom, Delete Account permanently removes your account and saved schedule. See Account & privacy.
