Classes
Open a class for details, attendance, and quick actions, or add your own.
Tap any class (on the Dashboard, the Week tab, a widget, or the Watch) to open its detail sheet.
What's in a class
The course code and title sit up top, followed by the details.
You'll see type, day, start, end, and length, plus room and instructor when they're set. There's also a Notes & link section where you can jot a note and save a class link (a group chat, syllabus, or drive folder).
Mark attendance
Under Attendance you'll find four buttons for this week's occurrence of the class.
- Present · Late · Absent · Excused
Tap one to set it. Tap the same one again to clear it. Your running rate shows right there in the section header. For how the math works, see Attendance.
Quick actions
A New Task row in the Actions section starts a task pre-linked to this class. The ⋯ menu holds the rest.
- Add Reminder: drops an Apple Reminders item about an hour before the next class.
- Add to Calendar: adds every weekly meeting of this course as recurring events for the term.
- Copy Details: copies the class info to your clipboard.
- Edit Class / Delete Class: only for classes you added yourself.
Add your own class
Got a club, tutorial, or study block that isn't in your imported schedule? Open the + and fill in the fields.
- Title (required) and an optional short code.
- Day, start, and end. Move the start and the end follows, keeping the length.
- Type: a label like Lecture, Lab, Recitation, or Online.
- Appearance: a color and icon.
- Optional room and instructor.
If it overlaps another class, MySched asks whether to add it anyway. Your call.
Only your own classes are editable
Classes from an imported schedule follow your section, so they can't be edited or deleted from here. Only classes you create can be changed or removed. To change an imported schedule, go to More ▸ Manage Schedule.
