MySched

Plan & study

Draft a trial schedule before enrolling, and get a suggested week of study blocks.

MySched has two planning tools. Plan helps you draft a trial schedule before you enroll. Study Plan suggests when to study this week. Both stay on your device and never sync.

Plan a trial schedule

Open More ▸ Plan to draft a schedule before enrollment and spot clashes early.

  1. Tap + to add a candidate class.
  2. Give it a title or course code, a day, and a start and end time.
  3. Repeat for each class you're considering.

MySched groups your drafts by weekday and flags any that clash, with a warning at the top and a marker on each conflicting row. Tap a row to edit it, or swipe to delete. Nothing here touches your real schedule, so experiment freely.

Get a suggested study week

The Study Plan turns your open tasks into a week of study blocks. Open it from the calendar icon in the Tasks tab toolbar.

  • MySched fills your free time with blocks, each tied to one of your open tasks.
  • Tap + on a block to add it to Tasks as a "Study: ..." task, due at the block's start with a reminder.
  • Turn on Exams mode to plan longer blocks, only for tasks that mention an exam, quiz, midterm, or final.

If the plan looks empty, you likely have no open tasks, or no free time left this week. In Exams mode, it also needs a task that mentions an exam, quiz, midterm, or final.

Next steps

  • Tasks: the tasks your Study Plan is built from.
  • Exams: add exams that Exams mode can plan around.
