Live Activities
Your current class on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a live countdown.
A Class Live Activity keeps the class that's happening on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a live countdown and an I'm here button. It's the fastest way to check in without opening the app.
Start one
There are two ways to bring up a Live Activity.
- From a class: open a class's ⋯ menu and tap Start Live Activity.
- Automatically: turn on Show automatically in More ▸ Preferences, under Live Activity. A Live Activity then appears on its own while a class is in session.
What it shows
- On the Lock Screen, the course, room, and a live countdown to the start or end.
- On the Dynamic Island, a compact countdown when tucked in, and the full class with an I'm here button when expanded.
- The I'm here button marks you present for that meeting.
One honest limit
Auto-start works once you've opened the app at least once. MySched can't yet start a Live Activity fully on its own before the app has ever launched. That last piece depends on push delivery that isn't wired up yet.
