Grades

Track per-course grades and units for a running GWA. Stays on your device.

Grades keeps your per-course marks and turns them into a running GWA (grade-weighted average). Open it from More ▸ Grades. Everything here stays on your device and never syncs.

Your GWA

The top of the screen shows your GWA, computed from the courses you've graded, weighted by units. It shows the number of graded courses and total units, and a Latin-honors label when your GWA lands in range. Enter a grade for at least one course to see it.

Add your courses

There are two ways to fill in the list.

  • Add your scheduled courses: one tap seeds the courses from your current schedule, with their catalog units, so you only fill in grades.
  • Add a course: tap + to add one by hand, then edit its code, units, and grade.

Each row takes a grade and units. Swipe a row to delete it.

Grades use a 1.00 to 5.00 scale, where 1.00 is best and 3.00 usually passes. Grades and units stay on your device.

Latin honors

For reference, the screen lists typical honors bands.

  • Summa Cum Laude: 1.00 to 1.20.
  • Magna Cum Laude: 1.21 to 1.45.
  • Cum Laude: 1.46 to 1.75.

Thresholds vary by school and usually require a minimum grade per subject and full residency, so check your registrar for the exact rules.

Next steps

  • Exams: keep your midterms and finals in one place.
  • Account & privacy: export a copy, since grades don't sync.
