MySched

Attendance

How MySched counts your attendance, and how to mark it.

Attendance lives in the More tab. Tap More ▸ Attendance to open it.

What you see

The screen leads with the number that matters, then breaks it down by course.

  • Your overall percentage up top.
  • A weekly trend chart, once you have at least two weeks of counted data.
  • A by-course list, each with a ring and per-status counts. Tap a course for its dated history.

Any course under 75% gets an At risk flag and sorts to the top. When your term dates are known, a course can also show how many absences you have left before you're over the limit.

How the math works

The four statuses are Present, Late, Absent, and Excused. Here's the honest version.

  • Present and Late both count as attended.
  • Absent counts against you.
  • Excused is left out of the rate entirely. It doesn't help or hurt.

So your rate is (present + late) ÷ (present + late + absent).

Attendance is tracked per class occurrence, meaning each specific day's meeting.

Ways to mark yourself present

Any of these creates a Present record.

  • The four buttons on a class's detail sheet.
  • I'm here from a class's swipe on the Dashboard or Week tab.
  • I'm here on a class reminder notification.
  • The I'm here button on a widget, a Live Activity, or the Apple Watch.

Checked in from a widget or your watch? It's saved as a check-in and becomes a Present record when you open that class the same week.
