Turn your schedule into an image, a link classmates can join, or a portable file.
You can export an image of your schedule. When the shared-schedule feature is available, you can also share your actual classes with a code or link.
Share your schedule as an image
Image export needs no account. Open You ▸ Share and choose the Image tab.
- Choose a share card or wallpaper.
- Check the preview.
- Tap Share Image.
Save a wallpaper to Photos if you want to use it on your Lock Screen.
On iPhone and iPad you can also choose a Week, List, or Stats design, or tap Share as PDF to send a printable copy. Extra image styles and saved designs are part of MySched Pro; the share card and wallpaper stay free.
Share a schedule classmates can join
If the shared-schedule option is missing from You ▸ Share, it is not available right now. You can still share an image.
A shared schedule gets a 4-character code, a link, and a QR code. Anyone with one of those can preview the classes and save them into their own MySched, with no account needed to preview or join. Publishing needs an account, because the share belongs to you.
On Android, opening You ▸ Share while signed in publishes the schedule and shows the code right away. Opening it is the publish action, so do not open it just to look.
To join a classmate's schedule, use You ▸ Join with code and enter the code or link, review the classes, and save the ones you need. On iPhone and iPad you can edit or remove rows during the review. On Android the review is read-only, so check the source schedule before saving.
After joining, sign in to use Looks correct or Report a problem. These actions help other students decide whether to trust the schedule.
You can leave a joined schedule from You ▸ Shared schedule. Leaving removes the classes brought in by that join, not classes you added yourself.
Stop sharing is permanent
Stopping a shared schedule retires its link and code for good and stops new joins. Classes classmates already saved stay on their devices.
A portable schedule file
You can also move a schedule between phones without an account using a
.mysched file. Open You ▸ Share and use Export .mysched file; on the
other phone, use Import schedule file and review the classes before saving.
Which one do I want?
MySched has several ways to get your schedule out of the app, and they are not interchangeable. Picking the wrong one is the usual reason something "did not work".

Three of these are often mixed up, so to be blunt about it:
- An image is not a schedule. Someone who receives one has to retype it.
- Calendar export goes to your calendar, not to another person. It does not send anything to anyone.
- The free-time comparison never shares your classes. It shares whether you are busy. Your subjects, rooms and instructors stay on your device.
On iPhone and iPad, you can compare your free time with up to two classmates for free. MySched Pro raises that to five.
Why some options are missing
If Shared schedule is not in your app, it is not available to you right now. That is a setting on our side, not something you broke, and nothing you have done is lost.
